 		 Two days from now I will begin to realize a dream I've had for several years, to ride my bicycle around Lake Ontario. It will be nine or ten days of riding, camping and with any luck, easing into that altered state of mind a long bike trip brings. Something about the road slipping away under the tires while objects on the horizon rise up and fall away into the past causes the brain to relax.
